Data Center load banks – LBR
Data centers are a key object for maintaining the continuity of business processes of many companies. For the Data Center facilities themselves, it plays the role of reliable, continuous power supply and ensuring the right temperature in the server room. Data Center load banks in the standard version of RACK19’ have from 3kW to 21.5kW.
Tests of this type of load banks help to verify the correctness of the installation at an early stage and enable verification of all elements critical to the continuity of power supply, such as: the performance of UPSs, wiring with terminals and sockets, distribution panels and power strips in server cabinets, the correct operation of the main switch and protections, as well as elements of the system in front of the switchboard, including: power generators and a transformer.
The first LBr load bank tests can be carried out before the acceptance stage of the installation, which is crucial in terms of possible costs related to repairs of defects revealed during the test, which could be detected only after the infrastructure has been commissioned.
As a standard, Load Bank is produced in voltages from 120VAC to 280 VAC, which can operate at 45-65Hz frequencies ranging from 3kW to 21.5kW. The devices can be mounted in racks, and in the absence of them we offer our own mounting kits. It is possible to make RACK19” racks in the standard height from 4u to 10u depending on the application of the device and power.
