We produce stationary LBG, LBZ load banks. Among the available models you will find vertical load banks, which are characterized by the vertical arrangement of the housing. They are available in capacities from 100kW to 500kW and allow for modular application of devices up to 3000kW. In this case, the air is sucked from the bottom of the device, flows through the resistors and using a special thermally insulated channel, hot air is ejected outside.

Portable LBP load banks are convenient devices, characterized by a compact housing suitable for transportation and relocation. The devices are available in capacities from 10kW to 2MW at voltages from 30-600V. They are designed to work inside buildings. It is possible to buy a special tarpaulin for outdoor storage. It is also possible to perform in a higher IP class.

Obciążnica rezystancyjno reaktancyjna Lbi

Reactive load banks are available in capacities from 20kVA to 5000kVA and higher depending on the application for voltages from 36VAC 400Hz, up to 16kV 50/60Hz and higher.

We offer resistive and reactive load banks used to perform precise power tests (power generators, UPSs, transformers) by changing the voltage and current characteristics of the load by changing the phase shift of the so-called "cos fi". In a nutshell, they simulate the actual conditions of receivers such as: lighting, electric motors, DC/AC power supplies, etc.

Why is it worth using resistive/reactive load banks? When testing power systems only with a resistor, we will not check 100% of the power source, because most manufacturers give the rated parameters of generators at cos fi = 0.8 and not at the value of cos fi = 1 that a typical resistor has.

Application example:

generator set with a power of 100kVA/80kW/cos fi 0.8/400VAC

resistance load tests at 100% rated power of the unit will allow to perform the 80kW/80kVA test and the current 116A

tests with resistance-reactance load bank of the nature of the load cos fi = 0.8 at 100% rated power of the unit will be performed by the 80kW/100kVA test and current 145A

The conclusions are that only with the variable cos fi can we 100% check the correct operation of the power source and electrical connections and installations. In the case of our solutions, we can change this parameter from the capacitive value "0.1" through the resistive "1" to the inductive value "0.1" depending on the model of the device. It is only with the use of such resistors that we can check the diesel engine and the generator in 100% ( in the case of resistive load banks, we will check the engine in 100%, and the generator in 75%), i.e. the electrical system, protections and ATS systems, etc.

Container load banks have been created for customers who care about a very durable construction. Frequent transport then ceases to be a problem – the housing is durable and resistant to mechanical damage. Container housing has been specially prepared for comfortable, trouble-free movement. The spacious housing allows you to get really high power up to 5 MW. Container load banks are functional not only because of the housing. The spacious interior of the machine can be used as a cable storage or as a room to operate the machine

 

How are container load banks built?

Load banks in container housings are characterized by high versatility. They are used, among others, in conducting tests of ATS automation systems. They are also used in oil companies, DATA CENTERS, power plants and high-power generators. The fresh air intake is located at the bottom of the housing, while the hot air ejection is located at the top. The structure is stable – the structure is made of high quality powder-coated steel. The interior of the container can be developed according to the customer's needs.

DC load banks and discharge resistors – LBDC

Discharge resistors, resistors or LBDC series load banks - in our portfolio you can find DC devices from small 20A load banks with 0.01 A to 4000A with 1A adjustment, from small portable devices with wheels to large stationary indoor solutions as well as prepared for outdoor work. Voltage ranges individually selected according to customer needs or standard solutions in the ranges 12V, 60V, 200V, 440V, 700V.

The main application of LBdc resistors is the discharge of DC batteries for the purpose of "refreshing" the capacity, simulation of the battery load, test checking their capacity, tests of DC power supplies or telecommunication power plants in marine, air and land applications, etc.

The possibilities offered by the standard resistors are recording electrical parameters in order to generate data analysis reports, keeping the load at a constant level of CC current, CP power or CV voltage. Maintaining constant current and power values makes it easier for us to work regardless of the level of discharge of the batteries or the "dip" of the supply voltage.
